After the Final Whistle: How Did Our Picks for October 14–15, 2026 Perform?
Five winning picks from six: review our European results, the Sparta draw that denied a perfect record and our thanks to the WINWIN TIPS community.

The European fixtures on October 14–15, 2026 gave us plenty to enjoy and one result that kept a perfect review out of reach. WINWIN TIPS selected six picks in our original preview. The final record for that selection is five winning picks and one losing pick — an 83.3% hit rate.
Sparta spoiled the perfect six out of six, but that miss belongs in the review too. Here is what we selected before kick-off, how every match finished and what each result means for the original pick.

LASK – Liverpool: an away win in a nine-goal match
Our selection was Liverpool to win. The 3–6 result meets that condition regardless of how many goals the visitors conceded. The pick did not require a clean sheet or a particular winning margin. We record one winning selection: the away victory.
Aston Villa – Fenerbahçe: six goals clear the total
We selected over 2.5 goals rather than a match winner. Villa won 6–0, taking the match comfortably beyond the required three-goal threshold. This also illustrates the difference between markets: an over 2.5 selection can win even when all the goals come from one team.
Roma – Real Madrid: both teams delivered a goal
The original pick required each side to score at least once. A 3–4 final score confirms that outcome. The match winner was not a condition of our selection, so we keep the review tied to the market we actually published instead of claiming additional predictions after the event.
Sparta Praha – Lillestrøm: the one that got away
Sparta were our home-win selection. The match finished 1–1, so that pick lost. This draw separated five successful selections from a perfect six. We do not retrospectively turn the home-win tip into double chance: the published selection was a straight win, and the record reflects the miss.
Lech Poznań – Bayer Leverkusen: the visitors win
Leverkusen's 0–4 victory delivered our away-win selection. Any away victory in normal time would have been sufficient; no handicap or total-goals condition was attached. The scoreline was emphatic, but the accounting stays simple: one winning pick at the indicative price recorded in the preview.
Benfica – Celtic: the home-win pick lands
Benfica won 4–1, making our home-win selection successful. Conceding a goal did not affect the pick because a clean sheet was not required. That result completes the six-match review with five winning selections and one losing selection.
For readers who chose a 5/6 system
The original article presented six individual picks. If you combined them into a full five-from-six system, five correct selections leave one winning five-leg combination out of six. That does not automatically mean a profit: the financial outcome depends on the prices taken and how the stake was divided. This article records the hit rate, not a promised return.
